Abstract
A wise resource allocation design for a wireless network allows the optimization of a number of relevant parameters such as the data-rate, the radiated power, the number of supported users, and so on. Among these parameters, we focus on the energy-efficiency [1,2,3, and references therein], defined here as the number of error-free delivered bits for each energy-unit used for transmission.
