Abstract

The purpose of this article is to propose some major modifications to improve the performance of the Simulated Annealing based localization algorithm. To this end, by replacing the random initial location estimation of the sensor with an appropriate estimation, the execution time is decreased considerably. In addition, in order to mitigate flip ambiguity and increase localization accuracy, the fitness function and the probability distribution function are modified. The simulation results indicate a significant increase in the localization accuracy and execution speed especially in high noisy network.
