Abstract
In this paper, a digital image watermark algorithm to improve watermarking technology for certain watermarking materials based on discrete wavelet transform and chaos theory is proposed. During the watermarking embedding, discrete wavelet transform is done firstly and the chaotic sequence is produced for the watermark. Before the watermark is embedded, a correlation mask for every lowest coefficient is confirmed by the characteristic and tree structure relation of the wavelet coefficients. Then, the hided watermarking strength of every lowest coefficient is controlled by its corresponding mask. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and robust to common image processing operations and some geometric operations such as JPEG compression, JPEG2000 compression, Filtering, Adding Gaussian noise and so on. The effect of watermarking image is very well.
