Abstract

In this paper a framework for building logical schema and query decomposition procedure for federations of data warehouses has been proposed. The logical schema of a data warehouse federation arises as the result of integration of the schemas of component data warehouses. A user query refers to the schema of the federation, therefore, the query decomposition process is needed.
