Abstract

Ad Hoc network is a multi-hop temporary autonomous system, which consists of a group of mobile terminal with a wireless transceiver device and whose topology structure changes constantly due to the high dynamic of mobile autonomous network. ODMRP, as the name implies, is an on-demand multicast routing protocol which could better fit in Ad Hoc network. On the basis of this protocol, the NCR-ODMRP protocol the paper proposes, based on its stability of path, applies MRP (Multipoint Relay) mechanism to limit flooding in ODMRP and selects three relatively stable routing by means of the change rate of a neighbor node and optimizes multicast forwarding grid, which reduce the protocol overhead, and enhance the robustness of the protocol.
