Abstract

Namimote is a wireless sensor node developed in the context of the Namitec project that aims to provide a low cost and multi-purpose sensor node platform for wireless sensor networks. This paper describes the Namimote architecture, highlighting its features and main characteristics. A case study is also presented, in which the performance of the sensor node is evaluated.
