Abstract

In the Smart TV or Connected TV, HD or 3D contents transfer requires high speed and secure transfer of large amount of contents. For the transfer of high definition TV contents, wire and wireless networks for transfer should be able to guarantee necessary QoS(Quality of Service) or use the maximum resources provided by networks, and the transfer of secure network suited to transfer of contents is necessary. In this study as the available resources is made the best use of using the transfer of parallel TCP, a contents transfer method for safely transfer the on-demand large amount of HD video to the STB(Set Top Box) of viewers through selective and adaptive encryption model is proposed. This proposed model can enable us to realize the efficiency of computing resources through adaptive end to end security and the effective use of best effort network with QoS not guaranteed.
