Abstract
This article begins with analysis of the particularity of coal mine structure, for the lack of mine wired network in some respects, such as freshness, flexibility, coverage and so on, a scenario of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) based on ZigBee technology is presented. And it can be used for miner positioning and related information collection in the coal mine. The tree network topology is selected to set up the WSN.The result of this experimental indicate that the scenario can meet the demands of underground communication, and overcome the existing problems of single function and wiring complexity. The scenario provides a better solution for the underground miner positioning and related information collection.
