Abstract

Enterprise Service Bus is widely-used, flexible, SOA-based infrastructure. Lifecycle management is a necessity for component reusing, maintenance, monitoring, as well as service governance. But existing approaches of service lifecycle model and management tools are not suitable for ESB environment, especially for distributed ESB environment. In this paper, we present a lifecycle model for ESB services with the consideration of both JBI components and service assemblies. A web based tool is also introduced to assist administrators to manage and monitor each phase of ESB services lifecycle.
