Abstract

In order to solve the subdivision of orebody section model and its data storage, the data compression is used. On the basis of the analysis on the traditional 3D data compression method, this paper improves the traditional octree compression method, puts forward the fast dynamic coding method of dynamic octree, and provides improved compression coding algorithm and decoding algorithm, realizing the coding of orebody section model. Following the compressed storage of orebody section model, it can be known that the improved algorithm has prominent advantages in both compressing time and data storage space.
