Abstract
This paper proposes a model (architecture and protocol) that will help in securing assignment submissions into learning management systems. A client server architecture that uses cryptography is proposed to transform a regular assignment deliverable into a secure deliverable. A protocol is devised between client and server such that faculty and students can securely obtain symmetric keys to either encrypt or decrypt an assignment deliverable.
