Abstract

RESTful web services easily deploy their web service without physical server through HTTP protocol. This research is to provide a service evaluation, especially in the point of system performance for the Open APIs. Future information systems will be working on smart devices such as smartphones or smart devices. So, this research focuses onto the scalability of RESTful Open API web services by performance evaluation of the RESTful Open APIs. This is because we need to check whether the REST Open API has enough performance as a future mobile cloud platform.
