Abstract
This paper describes the characterization of a symmetrical probe feed patch antenna array. The characterization consists on finding the most important parameters of the antenna. It is done by two methods. The first one is a simulation by HFSS simulator release 10. The second method is based on experiences using network analyzer and a hyper frequency transmission bench. A comparison of both methods results shows some light differences that can be discussed.
