Abstract

As we were growing up, the world seemed very orderly. Adults knew what was right and what was wrong (and they made sure they told as that). Politicians peddled their ideas for solving all problems of interest to voters. Scientists were convinced that they discovered the smallest elements of matter, i.e. atoms.
