Abstract
For the sake of completeness, it may be useful to highlight additional examples, apart from the ACSES simulation, on how agent based modeling can be used to inform policy decisions. In this chapter we will look at two diverse examples of ABM and the types of decision support they can offer. The first is a model of a marine ecosystem; the second is an energy model in the context of an urban environment.
