Der Arbeitskreis Informatik und „Dritte Welt“ hat am 30. Juni 1984 im Institut für Angewandte Informatik der Technischen Universität Berlin einen Workshop u.a. mit zahlreichen Student/inn/en aus Ländern der „Dritten Welt“ zum Thema Ausbildungskonzepte für den Bereich Informationstechnologie und „Dritte Welt“ durchgeführt.
