Abstract
The semantic technology has provided an effect and efficient solution for the data interoperability in various applications. Semantic technology has played an important role in intelligent transport systems. In this paper, we investigate the interface design on semantic systems of road sign management. We present a user modeling by introducing a classification of various users in the system, and analyzing the user’s knowledge requirement. Based on the user modeling, we propose an interface design for different use cases of semantic systems for road sign management, and discuss the implementation of the interface for semantic systems with different application scenarios.
