Zusammenfassung
Das Konzept des Fernlabors wird vorgestellt. Es handelt sich dabei um einen innovativen, auf der allgemeinen Verfügbar- keit von PCs und Telekommunikationsnetzen sowie dem Einsatz der Multimediatechnik basierenden Ansatz zur Automatisierung von Laborpraktika als Bestandteil der Lehre an Hochschulen und zur sowohl räumlichen als auch zeitlichen Trennung von Studierenden und Versuchsaufbauten bzw. Versuchsdurchführungen. Als erste Umsetzung des Konzepts wurde eine Experimentierumgebung zum Entwurf digitaler Schaltungen erstellt. Eine Reihe weiterer Versuche ist in Vorbereitung.
