Zusammenfassung

Die breite Akzeptanz von Java als Netzwerkprogrammiersprache haben das Java-Classfile-Format zu der wohl am weitesten verbreiteten, portablen Zwischenrepräsentation für Programme gemacht. Dieser Beitrag fasst die wichtigsten Resultate zusammen, die bei der Analyse von 4016 unterschiedlichen Classfiles hinsichtlich Dateigrösse und Verwendung der Bytecode-Instruktionen gemacht wurden.
