Für die Normvorlage DIN 66 253 (Programmiersprache PEARL) Teil 2 (Full PEARL), die 1980 als Norm-Entwurf erscheinen soll, wurde die Semantik der nichtsequentiellen Sprachmittel durch Petri-Netze beschrieben.
