Zusammenfassung

Es wird ein Überblick über Software-Produktions-Umgebungen gegeben. Grundlage hierfür sind ca. 20 solcher Systeme/ die aus etwa 75 Hilfs-mitteln für die Software-Entwicklung ausgewahlt wurden. Die Untersuchung der Systeme orientiert sich am Fragenkatakog, der fur das Symposion on Software Engineering Environments [Hünk81] erstellt wurde. Diskussionsthemen sind: Motivation und Ziel, Anwendungsbereiche, Werkzeuge und Funktionen, Konzepte, Entwicklung und Nutzung von Software- Produktions-Umgebungen. Dabei wird der heutige „Stand der Kunst“ dargelegt, und Mangel werden aufgezeigt: Z.B. fehlen adäquate Modelle für die Entwicklung und Anwendung von Software, und mögliche Auswirkungen der Anwendung von Software-Systemen werden bei der Entwicklung nicht genügend berücksichtigt.
