Zusammenfassung

Mit steigender Komplexität von DV-Systemen steigt auch der Bedarf nach geeigneten Kontroll- und Planungsverfahren. Werkzeuge für die Analyse und Prognose des Leistungsverhaltens haben erhebliche Bedeutung bei der Entwicklung von Rechenanlagen und Software oder im Rechenzentrum beispielsweise für die Wahl der Konfiguration, der Betriebssystemstrategie und der Lastverteilung.
