An ein Datenbanksystem werden hohe Anforderungen bezüglich Datensicherheit gestellt. Es wird dargestellt, welche Sicherungs- und Wiederanlaufmechanismen das SIEMENS Datenbanksystem UDS bietet und wie sie beim Auftreten ausgewählter Problemfälle zusammenspielen.
Abstract
There are, among others, very strong requirements to protection- and recovery techniques in a database-management system. The mechanisms offered by the SIEMENS-dbms “UDS” are shown by discussing a few selected and special error-situations.
