Zusammenfassung
Expertensysteme sind „wissensbasierte“ und „intelligente“ Dialog-systeme, die mit Hilfe einer „Inferenzmaschine“ zum Ziehen logischer Schlüsse fähig sind. Die Wissenbasierung beruht dabei auf Fakten und geeigneten Sätzen von Regeln. Mustererkennungsorientierte Experten-systeme verwerten Information aus Sensorsystemen. Inferenzmaschinen verknüpfen Fakten und Regeln vorwärtsverkettend beim Erschließen von Konsequenzen, rückwärtsverkettend bei der Bestätigung von Hypothesen. LISP und PROLOG sind bevorzugte Programmiersprachen für den Bau von Expertensystemen. Bei der Mustererkennung mit Hilfe von Expertensystemen muß Sensorinformation so aufbereitet werden, daß die Regeln „greifen“ können. Vierundzwanzig Mustererkennungs-Experten-systeme werden kurz beschrieben. Die weitere Entwicklung hängt von neuer Hardware und besseren Methoden der WissensVerarbeitung ab, wobei Mustererkennung und Künstliche Intelligenz Hand in Hand arbeiten müssen.
