Zusammenfassung

Noch vor wenigen Jahren war der Begriff „Wissensverarbeitung“ (knowledge processing) außerhalb der Artificial Intelligence (Al)-Forschung praktisch unbekannt. Heute befinden wir uns an der Schwelle zum praktischen Einsatz dieser Technologie in einer Vielzahl von Anwendungsfeldern, vornehmlich im technisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Bereich.
