KOKON ist ein Akronym für Kontrakt-Konfigurierung und wird innerhalb des vom Bundesminister für Forschung und Technologie geförderten Verbundforschungsvorhabens WISDOM (Wissensbasierte Systeme zur Bürokommunikation: Dokumentenbearbeitung, Organisation, Mensch-Computer-Kommunikation) als anwendungsorientiertes Teilvorhaben von der Forschungsgruppe Künstliche Intelligenz der Technischen Universität München und der GEI Systemtechnik in München bearbeitet.
