Summary
Universal Circuit Simulation Programs, such as SPICE and ASTAP, are today’s Standard tools used by all circuit designers to develop integrated circuits. Usually, the pure usage of such a program as a development tool does neither require any insight into algorithms and numerical methods nor any knowledge of the mathematical background. However, such insights and knowledges support ones understanding of the programs’ potentialities and limits and contribute substantially to the clarification of problems.
