Abstract
The advent of new powerful x-ray synchrotron radiation sources has enhanced the quality and speed of measurements for such methods as the x-ray small angle scattering and make new applications feasible. Two dimensional position sensitive detectors acquire scattering images with high resolution and large dynamic range. The high speed of image acquisition requires fast automatic preprocessing for corrections and calibration whereas the complexity of the mono-chromator, sample- and detector arrangements demand interactive data processing and finally archiving of measured- and processed data.
