Zusammenfassung
In dieser Arbeit werden Leistungsgrenzen für die beiden HSLAN’s LDDI und FDDI untersucht. Die Entwicklung von Modellen für die Leistungsermittlung dieser HSLAN’s werden beschrieben und anschließend die Ergebnisse, die per Simulation ermittelt wurden, gegenüber gestellt. Der Schwerpunkt der Arbeit liegt dabei auf LDDI, da dieser Normungsvorschlag im Gegensatz zu FDDI in der Literatur wenig beachtet wurde.
