Zusammenfassung

Kommunikationsarchitekturen auf Basis lokaler Netze und standardisierter Protokolle werden zur Zeit in breiter Front für die Produktionsautomatisierung eingeführt. Damit gewinnen Funktionen für das Management der Kommunikationsnetze ebenfalls zunehmend an Bedeutung. Ausgehend von den Anforderungen der Anwender an ein Netzwerkmanagement für industrielle Kommunikationnetze beschreibt der Beitrag die Vorgehensweise und den Stand in der Standardisierung des Netzwerkmanagements für die Bereiche Projektierung, Überwachung und Diagnose.
