Abstract
In creating artificial intelligence applications its is of paramount importance to reconstruct the process of arriving at decisions. It is this process of making adequate and reasonable judgments that, in the final analysis, is constitutive of intelligent behaviour. Because of this fact, the key philosophical problems of AI are gnoseological in nature: access to memory, promptness of response and, in general, the ability to grasp and process information.
