Zusammenfassung
Als Metaphase bezeichnet man einen durch geeignete Präparation fixierten Zustand einer biologischen Zelle. Zur automatischen Suche dieser Metaphasen, die für eine Routineanwendung geeignet ist. wird eine schnelle Bildverarbeitungsrechnerarchitektur vorgestellt. Mit Methoden der mathematischen Morphologie für Grau- und Binärbilder und entsprechenden Hardwareprozessoren gelingt eine automatische Metaphasensuche, die den Forderungen des Anwenders nach Geschwindigkeit und Qualität der gefundenen Metaphasen bei vertretbarem Hardwareaufwand genügt.
