Abstract
This paper sets out to investigate major French Computer applications in the field of air pollution. Four applications are described: (1) a trajectory data bank (BISCOTTE), (2) an air quality data bank, (3) an air pollution modelling application used to study the effects of daylight savings time on photochemica1 pollution, (4) a public information application involving the use of videotex termina1s.
