Zusammenfassung

Eines der Hauptprobleme in komplexen Informationssystemen ist es, bei der Vielfalt des Informationsangebots die Übersicht zu behalten und Systeme anwendungsadäquat zu nutzen. Zur Lösung dieses Problems werden formale Ansätze der konzeptuellen Modellierung vorgeschlagen. Es wird ein mehrdimensionales Grundmodell entwickelt, welches die Verwaltung, Steuerung und Überwachung verteilter Anwendungssysteme im Managementbereich repräsentiert. Dabei steht die Idee der Entscheidungsorientierung im Vordergrund. Die experimentelle Realisierung und Anwendung eines solchen Modells im Passauer Wissensbanksystem ConceptBase wird skizziert.
