Zusammenfassung
Mathematische Programmierungssoftware spielt für einige Anwendungen im Rahmen computergestützter Planungs- und Dispositionssysteme eine zentrale Rolle. In zunehmendem Maße wird neben der linearen auch die gemischt-ganzzahlige Optimierung eingesetzt. In jüngster Zeit sind verschiedene neue Anwendungsbereiche erschlossen worden. Wir diskutieren den Einsatz von MP-Software in entscheidungsunterstützenden Systemen, Modellierungsaspekte von gemischt-ganzzahligen Modellen sowie Aspekte zur Reduktion der Rechenzeit. Darüber hinaus stellen wir die Entwicklung eines sehr leistungsfähigen LP-Optimierers MOPS vor, der den Kern eines geplanten MP-Systems bildet. Wir berichten über algorithmische Aspekte, Systemarchitektur und numerische Resultate mit praktischen LP-Modellen.
