Zusammenfassung

Die wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten von Reinhold Franck decken eine breite Spanne in der praktischen Informatik ab. In drei Bereichen hat er sich besonders engagiert: Rechnernetze, Verteilte Systeme und Softwaretechnik. Dies spiegelt sich auch in der Zusammensetzung seiner Arbeitsgruppe wider. Die einzelnen Schwerpunkte seiner Arbeit und die von ihm geleiteten Projekte werden im folgenden kurz beschrieben.
