Zusammenfassung
Unter den Fachvertretern der Informatik ist immer noch umstritten, ob Informatik und Gesellschaft ein Teilgebiet der Informatik ist oder doch eher den Sozialwissenschaften zugeordnet werden sollte. Allerdings nimmt der Kreis derer ständig zu, die die Verantwortung der Informatiker für ihr berufliches Handeln bejahen und eine Integration der sozialen Aspekte des Fachs in die Lehrinhalte des Studiums befürworten.
