Abstract
The Siemens Communication Software Department has been working on Telecommunications Management Network (TMN) concepts and products for several years. A basic facet of the efforts is the development of a Platform for TMN Applications (PTA). This paper briefly describes the use of a TMN Database for supporting TMN applications and development tools, and the design of a Q 3 Configurator for processing formally defined CCITT X.722 object models.
