Zusammenfassung
Das zukünftige Breitband-ISDN soll eine Vielzahl verschiedener Dienste mit verschiedenen Bitraten und Dienstgüteanforderungen unterstützen. Der asynchrone Transfermode (ATM) bietet hier bezüglich der Bitratenanforderungen einen sehr flexiblen Übertragungsmechanismus. Trotzdem bleiben die Dienstgüteparameter eine kritische Größe in ATM-Netzen. Ein wesentlicher Dienstgüteparameter für Dienste, die Realzeitanforderungen an die Übertragung stellen, ist der variable Anteil der Verzögerung, der durch die Verteilung der Durchlaufzeit (Transferzeit) durch ein ATM-Netz charakterisiert wird. In dieser Arbeit wird ein analytischer Ansatz zur Berechnung dieser Verteilung sowohl für einzelne Netzknoten, als auch für eine komplette Referenzverbindung vorgestellt.
