Zum Problem des Schemaentwurfs eines Workflow—Management—Systems

Zusammenfassung

Der Schemaentwurf von Workflow—Management—Systemen (WMS) ist als ein interdisziplinärer Entwicklungsprozeß aufzufassen, dessen Methodologie im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtungen steht. Von zentraler Bedeutung beim Entwurf ist die Konstruktion von verwendungsgleichen Sachverhalten, die als Meilensteine eine Abstraktion von Ergebnissen konkret unterschiedlicher Abläufe sind. WMS können auf mindestens drei orthogonale Dimensionen zurückgeführt werden: Funktionalität, Verhalten, Organisation. Funktionen werden als finale Anweisungen aufgefaßt, die auch Beurteilungstermini zur Darstellung von Sachverhalten enthalten können. Die Darstellung des Verhaltens erfordert eine strenge Trennung von Objekt— und Metaebene. Aus organisatorischer Sicht steht u.a. die Aufbauorganisation mit ihren Bestimmungen zur Übertragbarkeit (Vererbung im Sinne Freges) von Ausfiihrverantwortlichkeiten im Mittelpunkt des Interesses.

Abstract

Schema design of Workflow—Management —Systems (WMS) is an interdisciplinary development process whose methodology is considered. During the design the construction of application—equivalent matter of facts is of paramount importance. Three orthogonal dimensions are at least distinguishable: functionality, behavior, organization. Functions are requests including the matter of fact to be reached. Even terms of judgement are allowed to describe the matter of fact. A strong separation in object and meta—level is needed when the behavior of the systemis designed. From an organizational view an inheritance relation of properties in the sense of Frege is discussed to clarify the question ”who is doing the job”.
