Abstract

It was in St. Maarten where a group of more than 100 computer scientists surprized the rest of the world by stating that they have been doing real-time research for years in order to generate automated solutions for problems and in spite of their efforts and in spite of tricky schedulers, excellent methods, fast CPUs and networks, not all problems concerning real-time have yet been solved.
