Abstract
The informations given back by up-to-now available ecg automatic readers, especially when average price instruments are used, need further treatment by the physicians to eliminate false answers produced by the instruments because of ecg signal noise or because of objective difficulties in analysing data. It would be better software supported physicians through this delicate phase. The software would be able to carry out some routine work related with the ecg event analysis; moreover these might offer rapid access to the improper data, making inquiring and correction easier. The proposed program helps the physicians in the clinical and therapeutic follow-up permitting comparisons between ecg tests of the same patient as well as comparisons between ecg data of different patients of homogeneous group; it’s an useful characteristic to establish standards.
