Zusammenfassung
Die Technologie des Cloud Computing erlaubt die Bereitstellung verschiedener Dienste über das Internet. Im Rahmen von Industrie 4.0 ist eine schnelle Bereitstellung von Softwarekomponenten, die individuelle Geschäftsprozesse unterstützen, von großem Interesse. Dies erlaubt die zeitnahe Adaption von Geschäftsprozessveränderungen sowie eine nutzungsabhängige Abrechnung. Nach der Einordnung des Begriffs Cloud Computing in den Kontext von Industrie 4.0 wird in diesem Beitrag auf das Bezugsmodell Business-Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) eingegangen. Das Konzept und die Vorteile dieses Modells werden dargestellt und die Einsetzbarkeit im Kontext von Industrie 4.0 wird diskutiert. Darüber hinaus werden logische Entwicklungsstufen einer BPaaS-Plattform aufgezeigt. Mit der „Logistics Mall“ wird dann eine konkrete Handelsplattform für Softwaredienste und -prozesse auf Basis des Cloud Computing vorgestellt. Den Abschluss bildet die Darstellung der Ergebnisse einer Marktanalyse zum Thema „Cloud Computing für die Logistik“.
