Internet Search Based on Text Intuitionistic Fuzzy Similarity

  • Chapter
Intelligent Exploration of the Web

Part of the book series: Studies in Fuzziness and Soft Computing ((STUDFUZZ,volume 111))

Abstract

The work focuses on the application of a specific similarity measure of text documents to the search in the Web for sites of requested content. The decision on similarity is taken on the basis of fuzzy relations defined for the intuitionistic fuzzy sets while the search may be driven by any mechanism, for example by genetic algorithm.
