Abstract

A new simplified array configuration based method for estimating the two-dimensional (2-D) direction-of-arrival (DOA) of cyclostationary signals is presented. By eigen-decomposing the pseudo-data Matrices constructed from the cyclic correlation functions of sensor outputs, the proposed method can be applied to not only the wideband but also the narrowband signals. Moreover, the 2-D DOAs can be estimated without 2-D searching or parameter pairing procedures. Computer simulations demonstrate the capabilities of our method.
