Abstract
Digital forensics experts are increasingly called upon for business, legal, and criminal investigations that include evidence extracted from digital devices. The use of digital evidence in the justice system has become a cornerstone for both civil and criminal cases in this country. The proper collection and analysis of digital information is critical to the usefulness of that evidence, and it is crucial to possess knowledge of both basic and advanced forensics analyses to consider during the investigative process.
