Abstract

Owing to the development of information technology, smart home service providers now provide various services such as remote services and monitoring services through network-based smart home devices. In particular, a variety of services are provided for smart homes via smart devices irrespective of time and place. However, because smart devices are connected to a base network, it is possible for unauthorized devices to access the smart homes. Such indiscriminate data access may result in data leakage, data falsification, and invasion of privacy. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a secure data access control scheme for smart homes.
