Abstract

There are now many services which make it easy for nonprofessional groups to do the works in a professional area. Such services are called platform. Customers can express their ideas easily by using platform technology services even if they don’t have professional knowledge in the area, and consume the product at a much cheaper price than the price of a professional. It is expected that similar services will appear and develop increasingly to equalize customer participatory market with the ready-made product market. In the customer participatory service suggested by this paper, the planner suggests 50% of the ideas and the customers will fill the rest 50% with their creativity. The resulting 100% output will be different by the number of participating customers. And if the service is provided in the area of design, I would like to define it as half design service which is located in the middle between customizing and ready-made product. However, such platforms are difficult to be liked 100% by customers though customers may be able to make attempts in some degree. Therefore, in the expanded journals, more customer user interfaces will be developed and tested in order to expand customer’s autonomy in subdivided majors and areas. In clothing service, half design is in the middle between the ready-made service and custom-made service located at both ends. Shopping will be the part for customers who select design, and design sampling will be the part for designers who create designs. Half design is located at the contact point. With half design, all customers become designers and all designers can appreciate and learn the design capacity of their customers.
