Abstract

This paper proposes to model the dynamic interaction of the complex emotions excited by audiovisual stimuli. The behavior of the user is modeled through Markov chain procedure, and the transition probabilities are calculated. A parameter variation study of the dynamical behavior is undertaken to examine the scope of chaos and stability, thus leading to the derivation of the extent of stability. The arch motive of the paper lies in the prediction of chaos and stability of emotional dynamics from the instantiation of emotion in facial expression stimulated by external audiovisual impetus. Such prediction may help in the early discovery of mental disorders.
