Abstract

In this paper, we propose a resource allocation algorithm for maximizing system energy efficiency in a downlink OFDM-based SWIPT system, in which the energy efficiency of the system is maximized by jointly optimizing the subcarrier set and power allocation. The original optimization problem is difficult to solve directly. By transforming the objective function, we use the Lagrangian duality method to obtain the optimal solution. Simulation results show that our proposed algorithm is superior to the current algorithms.
